For this vintage Hollywood–themed awards evening, we created a custom film noir photo experience inspired by classic cinema. This was a one-of-a-kind concept dreamed up by event designer David Merrell of AOO Events.
Working from original reference imagery, we developed a series of projected backdrops to evoke a past era. We directed guests through some dramatic shadow play that gave each photo some noir depth.
We paired it with a curated styling collection—fur stoles, veils, cigarette holders—all the details that elevated the experience.
We pushed the look further with high-contrast black-and-white edits with subtle sepia toning, completing the images as timeless frames and unique take home for guests.
