For the third consecutive year, City Year invited us to create a custom photo experience for their annual Spring Break Gala. After the success of last year’s classroom-themed installation, we returned with a fresh interpretation of the academic world: a vibrant high school hallway brought to life inside our Pop Up Studio.

The installation featured lockers, a yellow bench inspired by City Year’s branding and a curated collection of scholastic and athletic props that encouraged guests to play and pose. The set struck a balance between nostalgia and polished event design — immersive enough to feel fun, while still maintaining the clean, elevated aesthetic the gala called for.

We also created custom high school superlative signs ("Best Dressed" "Class Clown" etc).

As always, the Pop Up Studio proved highly adaptable, transforming into a fully realized environment without the need for a large-scale custom build. Guests immediately connected with the concept, creating joyful, energetic portraits that became one of the highlights of the evening.
